What is it like to have an end-of-life doula? │Georgia holistic death care

Death doulas, death companions, or end-of-life doulas offer heart-centered, holistic care.

With the support of a death doula, you will have a guide through what are often, for many families, the uncharted waters of death and grief. Every family has unique needs, so end-of-life care is not cookie-cutter. Perhaps you are experiencing caregiver burnout and need opportunities for self-care; a death doula will offer caregiver support. Perhaps you have many questions, or want to connect heart-to-heart. An end-of-life doula can answer questions about what happens during the death and dying process, she can help with logistics that feel too overwhelming for you right now, she can provide resources.

I can help with all of these things.

A death doula can also guide you in your options regarding sitting vigil and after-death care and ritual, funeral options, and even green burial. If I doesn’t know the answer to your question about death, dying, funerals, burial, or grief, I am well-connected in the holistic death care world, and will do my best to find the information and contacts you need.

In the event that you have questions and I am not physically present, I offer virtual support.
You are safe. You are not alone.
